At Someday Shine Auto Detailing, we strive to keep your vehicle looking its best regardless of what Mother Nature has in store. To ensure the highest quality results and the safety of our technicians, we follow the weather guidelines below:
Interior Detailing
Any Weather: We are happy to perform interior detailing services in almost any weather condition. Rain or shine, we’ll make sure your cabin is spotless.
Exterior Detailing
Above Freezing (32°F+): Standard exterior detailing and pressure washing are available as long as temperatures are above freezing.
Below Freezing or Snowing: If it is snowing or temperatures drop below freezing, we can still perform Waterless Wash Exterior Details, provided the service can be completed inside a customer-provided garage.
The “Someday Shine” Weather Guarantee
We know how frustrating it is to have a clean car only for it to rain or snow the next day. That’s why we offer our 24-Hour Touch-Up Protection:
If it rains or snows within 24 hours of your completed detail, we will return to touch up the exterior of your vehicle for free once the weather clears!
Note: This guarantee is exclusively available to customers located within 15 miles of our Brighton location. Please contact us within the 24-hour window to schedule your touch-up.
Rescheduling
If the weather is severe (high winds, lightning, or extreme temperatures) and we determine that we cannot provide a service that meets our quality standards, we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for the next available opening.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I claim my free 24-hour weather touch-up?
If it rains or snows within 24 hours of your service, simply send us a text or email with a photo of the vehicle. As long as you are within our 15-mile service radius from Brighton, we will get you on the schedule for the next available clear day to tidy up the exterior.
Do I need to be home for the weather touch-up?
Not necessarily! As long as the vehicle is parked in an accessible spot (like your driveway), we can perform the exterior touch-up while you go about your day. We just ask that the vehicle is unlocked if we need to wipe down door jambs.
What if I don’t have a garage for cold-weather services?
If temperatures are below freezing and a garage is not available, we may need to reschedule your exterior detail for a warmer day. However, we can still proceed with any Interior Only services as planned.
How will I know if my appointment needs to be rescheduled?
We monitor the forecast closely. If we believe the weather will prevent us from delivering a high-quality detail (such as high winds or extreme ice), we will reach out to you at least 2 hours before your appointment to find a new time that works for you.
Does the 24-hour guarantee apply to interior details?
Since rain and snow primarily affect the outside of the vehicle, the free touch-up is specifically for the exterior surfaces that were impacted by the weather.
